Character Study - Meet The Twits

This mini unit will explicitly step students through the different language features that can be used to create characters. This unit uses ‘The Twits’ by Roald Dahl and allows students to explore the language features and techniques he uses to create vivid and interesting characters. Students will then apply these skills into writing vivid character descriptions of their own. These lessons can also be completed as a stand alone lesson and adapted to another text of choice.
